The artist is still an avid backpacker and hiker who frequents the wilds of the Four Corners Region, constantly on the lookout for wild places she has never explored.    By her own admission, she prefers camping to most other accommodation.  When not out camping and hiking or plein air painting, she can be found in her Montrose, Colorado studio, bordering the mesas and canyons of the Uncompaghre Plateau.
