Studio Painting

Studio works give me an opportunity to dig deeper - a painting I couldn't do outside due to weather, one that is more complicated, requires more thought and planning, more time exploring compositional alternatives, new technique or materials, etc. In all cases, I let the inspiration come to me. I let the ideas in my mind transport me back to the place and time to relive the experience on many levels. At that point, I am ready to start.
